Hello Parents & Guardians-

I would like to begin by wishing you all a very happy new year; I hope you all had a pleasant holiday season and were able to spend time with family and friends.

As we begin the second semester of the school year I would like to congratulate our 43 seniors who graduated in December…a full semester early!  So many of our MSJ students have dedicated themselves to getting to school each day and making sure to engage in classroom lessons and completing work.  We are very proud of our students and all they accomplish!

We know that good attendance is important for good grades and success at MSJ so it is essential that students attend all of their classes each day they are well enough to attend school. If your student is legitimately ill, please keep them at home, but if not, they need to be on campus.

Finally, I encourage all parents and guardians to help monitor your student’s success.  This includes checking ParentVue routinely and reaching out to the school anytime you see your student missing school without your knowledge or doing poorly in classes.  It takes us all to help make sure our students are successful!

Hola padres y tutores.

Me gustaría empezar deseándoles a todos un muy feliz año nuevo; Espero que todos hayan tenido unas agradables vacaciones y hayan podido pasar tiempo con familiares y amigos.

Al comenzar el segundo semestre del año escolar, me gustaría felicitar a nuestros 43 estudiantes del último año que se graduaron en diciembre… ¡un semestre completo antes! Muchos de nuestros estudiantes de MSJ se han dedicado a ir a la escuela todos los días y a asegurarse de participar en las lecciones del aula y completar el trabajo. ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros estudiantes y de todo lo que logran!

Sabemos que una buena asistencia es importante para obtener buenas calificaciones y tener éxito en MSJ, por lo que es esencial que los estudiantes asistan a todas sus clases cada día que estén lo suficientemente bien para asistir a la escuela. Si su estudiante está legítimamente enfermo, manténgalo en casa, pero si no, debe estar en el campus.

Finalmente, animo a todos los padres y tutores a ayudar a monitorear el éxito de su estudiante. Esto incluye consultar ParentVue de forma rutinaria y comunicarse con la escuela cada vez que vea que su estudiante falta a la escuela sin su conocimiento o le va mal en clases. ¡Se necesita de todos nosotros para ayudar a garantizar que nuestros estudiantes tengan éxito!
